Manifesting with $5 in My Bank Account

It's Friday and you just just received your direct deposit at 5:00 A.M.; but by 5:00 P.M. you only have $5.00 left. ( This literally happened to me yesterday). Every day, it seems to get harder to make a reasonable amount of money, pay rent, utilities, and other necessities -while trying saving money. Not only is it financially taxing to live in the current climate, but it's also mentally and emotionally.

While I am forever grateful to have a full-time job with benefits, I still live well below the median income in my city in order to maintain a somewhat comfortable life. After experiencing my Saturn return, I began searching for ways to elevate my mindset in order to get the results I need. However, life doesn't pause just because you're trying to raise your vibration.

People often misperceive manifesting as delusional thinking or witchcraft. In reality, it is simply working toward a goal has already happened. What does this mean? Instead of thinking "This is the life I want," "This is the car I want," or "This is the job I want," and then leaving your vision board to collect dust, manifestation requires active participation. It is about the law of attraction and the law of  assumption working together.

The first component of manifesting is the law of attraction-a philosophical concept suggesting or the positive or negative thoughts can manifest into corresponding experiences. By shifting your mindset toward positivity, you subconsciously clarify what you desire. Maintaining a high level of energy and belief can move you closer to your goals.

For example, I knew I wanted to live in the center of my city despite high housing costs and my limited monthly income. I began searching for apartments in my desired area that were within—or slightly above—my budget. I made a list of must-haves: a gym, a common area, a higher-level corner unit, and proximity to my job. I was clear about what I did and didn’t want, while still trying to remain realistic. Eventually, I narrowed it down to one apartment.

The second part of manifesting is certainty. I knew having a steady job would partially qualify me. The problem? I didn’t make three times the monthly rent, which many complexes require. Even with a co-signer—which significantly improved my chances—there was still a possibility of rejection. The process took longer than expected, and I quickly burned through my savings waiting for approval.

This is where the law of assumption came in: assuming something is already yours. I packed my belongings and prepared as if I were simply waiting to pick up the keys. This reflects another key principle—act and believe. While waiting for approval, I continued taking action. I contacted the leasing office consistently and stayed proactive. After spending nearly $1,000 on hotels and car rentals, I finally received the “yes” I had been expecting.

Changing my thoughts, emotions, and overall mindset ultimately helped me secure the apartment that I have now live in. While everything worked in my favor, I also believe that consistent action expedited the process.

I plan to apply this method earlier for my next move. I am grateful for the apartment I have now, but I also believe there is a larger, even nicer home waiting for me. Although I still have the same job—with slightly higher pay than when I started—I trust that more financial opportunities will arise to bring me closer to my next home.

So the question is: Are you going to use this method to get what you deserve?
